HLTA – Halstead – £+0-£110 a day
GSL Education Chelmsford are looking for a vibrant, compassionate, and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The job will be varied; working across the school supporting individuals or groups as required. The role will involve some whole class teaching too, alongside a class-based learning support assistant. Any additional training will be provided.
Responsibilities Of a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Provide in-class support to teachers, delivering lessons when required.
• Work with small groups and individual students to ensure they reach their learning goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and develop educational resources.
• Inspire and motivate students, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in whole-class teaching alongside the Learning Support Assistant.
Job Requirements
• HLTA qualification is required.
• Any degree in education or related field
• Experience in a school environment as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), with a strong understanding of child development.
• A passion for education and a desire to help every child achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
