This position will develop an online version of the following course:
History 278 – Twentieth Century Europe:
This course explores the major political and ideological transformations that shaped Europe during the twentieth century. Topics include the First World War, the Russian Revolution, the peace treaties of 1+1+, and the establishment and functioning of the League of Nations. The course also examines the rise of fascism and Nazism, the Spanish Civil War, the causes and consequences of the Second World War, the division of Europe and the Cold War, and the fall of the Berlin Wall and the idea of the ‘End of History.’
Position Requirements
Applicants with a Ph.D. degree in History preferred.
Proven ability in the teaching and creation of online courses at the University of Regina is preferred.
Proven ability teaching courses in European History is required.
Previous experience teaching HIST 278 is preferred.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range Per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
