Job Title: Home Collection Executive – Phlebotomist (DMLT)
Department: Pathology / Diagnostics / Home Collection Services

Reporting To: Lab Manager / Home Collection Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are hiring a DMLT-qualified Phlebotomist for home collection services. The candidate will be responsible for collecting biological samples from patients at their homes, ensuring quality, hygiene, and accuracy in sample handling, while delivering a professional and compassionate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit patients at home as per scheduled appointments for sample collection.
Collect blood, urine, swab, stool, and other specimens with accuracy and safety.
Ensure all specimens are correctly labeled, documented, and transported securely to the lab.
Maintain strict hygiene and follow biosafety protocols.
Use mobile apps/devices for tracking appointments and updating collection status.
Provide a courteous and empathetic experience to patients.
Manage sample storage conditions during transit (as per protocol).
Maintain and replenish phlebotomy kits and consumables regularly.
Report any adverse events or patient concerns immediately to the supervisor.
Comply with company SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) – Mandatory
Certification in phlebotomy preferred (if applicable)
Experience:
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, preferably in home collection services or diagnostics
Freshers with strong practical training may also be considered
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in venipuncture and sample handling
Familiarity with safety standards and infection control
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong time management and punctuality
Ability to use basic mobile apps or handheld devices
Other Requirements:
Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred)
Willingness to travel across assigned geography
Flexible working hours, including weekends and early mornings
