Home Delivery Agent and Grocery Assistant – Full Time

New World Mosgiel are seeking a full time Online Delivery Agent and Grocery Assistant for our Online Shopping and Grocery departments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated, self-confident, team player who enjoys the challenges of working in a fast paced supermarket environment.

As an integral member of the team you will have a significant responsibility to accurately pick our customers’ orders, and assist in the safe delivery of customers’ orders to their homes.

There will be the potential for opportunities for future development and growth within this role for the successful applicants at store level and via Foodstuffs provided training programmes.

A full clean NZ Drivers Licence

The key responsibilities of the successful applicant include:

Assist with our Online business and assist with Home Deliveries
Assist in our grocery department filling shelves to a high presentation standard
Maintaining our Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards within your department
Providing exceptional customer service and be the face of our store
Hours of work:

Monday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Online Home Delivery)
Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Online Home Delivery)
Wednesday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Online Home Delivery)
Sunday 7:00am – 3:30pm (Grocery Assistant)
Total of 33.5 hours per week.
We pride ourselves on ensuring our customer service is second-to-none therefore we seek people who have excellent customer service skills and can communicate and build a positive and professional relationship with our customers to ensure that our delivery offer remains successful.

The nature of this role can be physical therefore we require someone who is physically fit and has a full, valid and clean New Zealand Drivers Licence.

Applicants must have NZ Citizenship or NZ Permanent Residency or a valid NZ work permit.
