Sky Sports' Home Page Editors are senior sports journalists in the digital team, who curate content on our website and apps and lead sports coverage enjoyed by millions of fans.

What you'll do:
Take responsibility for the curation of all digital content on the Sky Sports website and apps.
Work with colleagues across Sky Sports News and Sky Sports to publish breaking news quickly and accurately.
Plan and publish push notifications to millions of users.
Sub-edit copy and write headlines to maintain Sky Sports' position as an industry leader.
Make strategic decisions to guarantee all content adheres to the Sky Sports house style and hits the right tone and editorial direction.
Ensure Sky Sports' digital platforms reflect our position as a diverse and inclusive publisher which appeals to a broad audience.
Work closely with our digital video and social teams to maximise the performance of digital video.
Use analytics tools to maximise the potential of all content.
Work closely with Picture Editors to ensure a consistent, engaging, and attractive look and feel.
As a senior member of the team, influence and coach sub-editors and journalists, including the daily management of freelancers.
Attend daily editorial conferences with ideas for content and stories that can run across Sky Sports' platforms.
Spend time commissioning and writing your own engaging sports stories.
Publish content to Sky Sports' WhatsApp channels.
What you'll bring:
Multiple years of working in professional journalism position previously.
Good knowledge of sport and digital publishing.
First-class sub-editing skills with a flawless understanding of spelling, grammar and journalistic principles.
Highly motivated and creative.
A team player, believing in collaboration and adaptability.
Able to readily embrace new technology and change.
Demonstrated experience of working in a quick-paced environment with tight deadlines.
A calm, detailed and methodical approach.
Ability to prioritise workload.
