Job Overview:
We are looking for a professional and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join the team at Sentosa Resort. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience. Your responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and handling all guest inquiries efficiently and courteously.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Reception and Registration:
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Verify guest reservations, register guests in the system, and allocate rooms according to preferences.
Issue room keys and provide essential information about the resort, amenities, and local attractions.
Customer Service:
Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Provide concierge services such as arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, and assisting with bookings for resort services or activities.
Offer exceptional hospitality and maintain a positive, courteous attitude at all times.
Administrative Duties:
Manage room bookings, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
Process payments, issue invoices, and handle cash transactions as required.
Keep accurate records of guest details, maintain front desk logs, and ensure compliance with resort policies and procedures.
Coordination with Other Departments:
Communicate guest requests, special requirements, or issues to housekeeping, maintenance, or other relevant departments.
Ensure smooth handover during shift changes by updating incoming staff on any important developments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of luggage, parking, and other guest-related needs.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area.
Help organize and coordinate special events, as required by the management.
Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Protel) and MS Office.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Multitasking and time-management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Educational Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
Shift Details:Must be available for flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays, as per the resort's operational needs.
