Housekeeping

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings. This role requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, laundry, floor care, and general housekeeping duties.

Duties
• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and personal items.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed to maintain a healthy environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any client requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, polishing, and carpet cleaning as needed.
• Assist with janitorial duties in commercial settings when required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow established housekeeping protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements
• Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred; custodial or hotel experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation practices is essential.
• Cooking skills are a nice-to-have for those interested in providing additional services.
