The 2025 summer associate salary will be based on a pro-rata calculation of entry-level associate compensation, which is currently $225,000
Job description
We are currently accepting applications from first-year law students interested in Transactions who would like to be considered for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) 1L Scholars Program as part of our firmwide 2025 Summer Associate Program. Students are encouraged to apply in accordance with their law school's recruiting guidelines.
Winston & Strawn’s 1L Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Scholars program is a unique opportunity for selected 1L law students to gain early experience working with world-class attorneys while developing strong mentoring relationships. LCLD Scholars at Winston have an opportunity to attend the LCLD Scholars Summit, participate in the firm’s annual LCLD 1L Scholars Roundtable, and spend part of the summer working directly with one of our clients. As a 1L LCLD Scholar, there is also the potential to receive a $10,000 scholarship if you complete our 1L program and receive and accept an offer to return for the 2L summer associate program, and an additional $40,000 total, paid in installments, if you complete our 2L program and receive and accept an offer of full-time employment.
