Who are we
TartanSense is a Bangalore based Agri-tech company centred at AI, Computer Vision and Robotics, revolutionizing the way farming is undertaken in India and the world. Our mission is simple – “We want to make farmers wealthy by shipping monetizable robots”.
Our robots are aimed at solving two of the biggest pain points of farmers – weed management and labour shortage.
About the role:
We are looking at hiring an HR & Admin Executive to take on the operational responsibilities pertaining to Human Resources and Office Administration management in the organisation. This role is for someone who is a hustler, open to challenges on a daily basis, enjoys juggling multiple hats and is always up for learning something new. The role will report to the Chief of Staff in key company deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
o HR Operations:
• Assisting with day-to-day operations of all HR functions and duties in the employee life-cycle management – recruitment, onboarding, payroll and statutory compliances, policy management, grievance management, employee exit formalities etc.
• Managing tasks pertaining to employee data management, monthly and adhoc report generation, employee welfare, employee engagement
• Vendor coordination and management - POC for all HR, Admin and related vendor communication
o Office Admin & financial reconciliation responsibilities:
• Overseeing office, facility management and related administrative tasks viz. office supplies purchase management, overseeing housekeeping and upkeep of the office space, pantry management
• Liaising with the finance teams on monthly accounting reports, invoice management, tax filing coordination, audit coordination and related documentation
• File management as per the statutory and accounting requirements
• Managing all vendor purchase and payment requests, petty cash management, travel booking management, accounts reconciliation and bookkeeping activities
Required skill sets/experience:
• 2-4 years of proven experience as an HR, Admin Executive, or relevant human resources/administrative position is desirable (relevant experience in a start-up would be a bonus)
• Well versed with all applicable labour laws and basic accounting principles
• Experienced in handling company payments, financial transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools mainly Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to handle large amounts of confidential information in an organised, efficient manner
• Being able to multitask numerous stakeholders and activities whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Self-driven and motivated with an ownership mentality
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Human Resources or equivalent with 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
