Job Purpose:
Our teammate in this role will assist the founders in the day-to-day HR & Administrative operations of Orxa Energies. Your purpose is to ensure the best people join our team & to keep our systems well-oiled & smooth for our team to move at hyper-speed. Orxa’s multi-talented, high-performing, lean team is our secret sauce of success. Growing this team while retaining this culture is a key expectation from this role & this is hence a high-visibility, high-impact role. Specific duties and responsibilities (but not limited to):
· Talent hunting : Work with the Founders to build pipeline for talent based on Orxa’s unique standards for hiring. Follow-up & manage recruitment process end-to-end, proactively build, with the recruiting team, creative means to assess candidates, manage on-boarding and develop ways to quickly ramp up new team members (30-60-+0-day plans, etc.), manage on-boarding documentation.
· Partner to our Talent : setup & own the tools & systems for day-to-day team management (attendance, leave, holidays, etc.) Ensure teams use these systems and troubleshoot problems if any. Assist founders in managing compliance on these tasks with our C.A.s
· Programs, Policies and Processes : creative & proactive in implementing new/better processes & policies in-house. Help better compliance management without adding bureaucracy/unnecessary steps. Help teams get on-board with new processes with minimum disruption.
· Culture : proactively suggest & drive creative ways to reinforce the company culture & team cohesion (apart from clichés like team meetings, off-sites, town-halls, staff meetings, etc.), work with Founders & marketing team on Employer Branding & other exercises, and manage the calendar for these activities.
· Compliance: assist the Founders with discretion & confidentiality in Payroll, performance, PF and coordination of routine compliance tasks related to HR & admin.
Requirements
Knowledge and skills
· Education and experience:
o Bachelor’s in any field, Master’s degree Management/MBA (HR)
o 1 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, especially in hiring, team management, etc
o Automotive industry experience would be valuable, but not mandatory

· Required Skills
o Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, necessary laws, HR concepts and evolving HR practices
o Strong sense of ethics & integrity
o Very strong research, organisational, analytical and presentation skills
o Clear & compelling verbal & written communication skills in English – added ability in Indian local languages is strongly preferred
o High level of interpersonal skills, emotional maturity and empathy to build strong relations with team members & with external stakeholders
