Assist the manager with HR projects

HR ASSISTANT
Caribbean Food Delights (CFD) a privately owned company, located in Tappan, Rockland County, NY, is the leading manufacturer of Jamaican Style Patties: beef, chicken and vegetable. This state-of -the-art facility, is SQF certified. We are looking for a bi-lingual (English & Spanish) HR Assistant with minimum one year related experience to provide overall assistance in the HR department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
• Answer phones for the HR department and respond to questions and inquiries.
• Handle employment application intake.
• Assist with new employee orientations and follow-up paper work processing.
• Perform a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance and processing of HR/personnel records and reports.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all employees’ records and information.
