Are you a dynamic and experienced HR professional ready to join our friendly professional services team at the department of Pathology? We are seeking a HR Manager to lead our HR office and support our talented team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a busy academic department. You'll have the chance to develop your existing broad range of skills, increase your experience across various functions, play a key part the work experience of our staff and get involved with initiatives and activities happening across the School of Biological Sciences.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process
Lead performance management, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.
Ensure legal compliance and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Support leadership with organisational development and workforce planning.
Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems.
About You:
Proven HR leadership experience
Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HR systems and data analytics.
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
