Our client is seeking a talented and experienced HR Partner to join our team in Melbourne.
Role Overview:
As an HR Partner, you will play a key role in providing strategic HR support to various departments within the organisation. You will work closely with leadership teams to align HR initiatives with business objectives, driving employee engagement, performance, and development. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach, with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering HR solutions that contribute to the overall success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support these objectives.
Provide expert advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Partner with leaders to manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
Support the development and implementation of talent management programs, including succession planning and career development.
Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and make informed recommendations for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with changes that may impact the business.
Facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing support and resolving HR-related queries.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as an HR Partner or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and regulatory requirements in Australia.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations and delivering HR solutions that align with business goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.
