The Vacancy

Based at the High Temperature Research Centre, Ansty, the post holder will undertake all asset related administration tasks and responsibilities to support HTRC Manufacturing Services Team.

This include supporting Manufacturing Services Team to help populate all assets, preventative maintenance checks, spares log onto the HTRC asset management system.

Main Responsibilities:

Critical spare logging, organization and coordination.

Asset management system administration, this responsibility will require the user to:
• Ensure all HTRC assets captured on the system.
• All preventative maintenance (PM) checks inputted and complied with.
• All manufacturer service dates captured and monitored.
• In collaboration with MS engineers, optimize PM plan to provide efficient scheduling and reduce asset downtime.
• Asset supplier contract administration
• Using the information gathered to support report generation for the manufacturing services and leadership teams.
• General administrative support
• To ensure that confidentiality requirements associated with particular areas of research/projects are maintained.

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• Self-motivated with ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Pragmatic hands on approach to problem solving with a can-do attitude.
• Actively promotes and works towards maintaining a clean and tidy work environment.
• Attention to detail with an ability to deliver work to
• required standards
• Microsoft Office use, specifically Excel.
• Able to deliver to tight timescales
• Not constrained to +-5 working pattern, when asked and able to travel as required.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience
• Database management
• Experience working in an R&D environment.
• Full UK driving license
