PIC have an opportunity for a motivated and professional Human Resources Administrator to join our team and assist in the success of our ongoing projects to ensure our employees a smooth transition to our workshop and sites across WA.

Pacific Industrial Company (PIC) is a highly regarded private company as a recognised leader in the Australian steel fabrication and construction industry.
We provide steel design, fabrication and construction services to the construction, mining, oil & gas sectors Australia wide.
Due to continued business growth and the award of new projects, PIC are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Administrator for a maximum term contract. This position will be based in our Naval Base head office, Monday to Friday with an immediate start!
About the role
Recruitment support:
Assist during peak periods with new starter onboarding – scheduling interviews, completing registrations, reference checks, obtaining and recording tickets, licences, VISA, NPC’s etc for site mobilisation
PO processing/booking pre-employment medicals
PPE ordering to dispatch for our Projects & workshop
Safety & Training Admin – Supporting the Audit, maintaining training matrix, training records and qualifications
Assist leaders with documentation of incident reports, workshop toolbox meeting minutes etc.
HR support:
Maintaining HR policies, procedures, templates and other documentation
Ensuring accurate documentation and reminders for internal parties
Organisation chart maintenance
Employee and contractor filing
Support collating reports/tracking data
Assist booking Injury Management/Workers comp appointments
About you
Previous experience in an HR Administrative role, ideally with mobilisation of personnel to remote locations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
