Job description
Based in Hampshire, this is an exciting opportunity for an HR Assistant to join a Global Electronics company with locations throughout the world. The opportunity has great growth potential. The company would ideally like people who are located close to the their site and they can be already in a similar role or looking for the next step up.
Responsibilities will focus on providing first line generalist HR advice and support on terms and conditions, HR policies and Procedures working directly with the Director of HR for the UK and Europe. Other responsibilities will include maintaining systems and processes, arranging / attending both formal and informal meetings and providing advice and guidance on absence issues and return to work cases.
The successful applicant should be full or part CIPD qualified, with a minimum of 5 years experience working within an HR environment, be it admin or assisting HR.
Other areas of experience required, include:
• Excellent communication skills both oral, written and computer based
• Ability to effectively read and interpret information, including numerical data
• It would be ideal for the candidate to have previously worked for a technology organisation, although this is not an essential requirement, however experience working within Electronics, Engineering, Semiconductors, Scientific or related would be highly beneficial.
