HR Partners are excited to be partnering with a leading organisation in South Australia for the recruitment of an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner with an IR specialism. Reporting to the HR Manager you will deliver on both operational and strategic HR solutions to business leaders and their people.

About the Role:

This role is a permanent full time position and will contribute to the wider business agenda.

Manage employee and union relationships, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and develop strategies to support organisational goals and resolve workplace issues. The role includes:

Formulating stakeholder and union engagement strategies.
Crafting and negotiating enterprise agreements.
Designing and managing IR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Providing effective IR management, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
Collaborate with the People and Culture leadership team to maintain a strategic perspective on long-term business success, addressing opportunities and risks.

About the Person:

Experience in development of enterprise agreement negotiation strategies
Experience in leading negotiations for enterprise agreements
Experience working within a highly unionised workforce
Experience developing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, particularly with union organisations
Experience in developing industrial relations strategies for a large organisation
Experience managing IR disputes, investigations and disciplinary outcomes.
The Business Partner will have strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of labor laws and regulations, and the ability to navigate complex workplace dynamics. Maintain a positive organisational culture and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

What do I need for the role?

Tertiary qualification in human resources, industrial relations or equivalent.
Minimum 3 year's experience as a human resources practitioner
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to successfully communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders across a broad socio-economic group and different culture
Experience as a human resources practitioner in manufacturing/FMCG or a related industry with high levels of industrial award application and third party employee representation
Experience with the application of employment legislation and industrial award
Demonstrated experience in handling complex employee relation issues and conducting investigations.
Demonstrated written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
