Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time available

Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator is a key position, and the successful applicant will join a team of like-minded individuals who together will share responsibilities for the onboarding/ payroll and general HR and LR functions necessary to successfully support Villa Marguerite, Benevolence Care Centre, and Sprucewood Housing. Each member of the team will specialize in one area, but cross train in order to create and better support a more fulsome team. This essential role functions to support the site’s leadership team in delivering high-quality care and service to our Residents and Employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer bi-weekly payroll and benefits processes in accordance with Park Place policies and union agreements
Maintain accurate employee records and support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
Coordinate HR documentation, including job postings, performance reviews, and training compliance
Work with internal managers and external Labour Relations to support investigations, liaise with WCB case workers, and assist with return-to-work planning
Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and staff communications
Promote a respectful and inclusive workplace culture in line with Park Place’s Code of Conduct
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll, HR, or office coordination, preferably in healthcare or seniors living
Proficiency with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Synerion) and HRIS platforms is an asset
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
