Location: Birmingham, Michigan (Office-based)

Join a leading organization in the dynamic restoration services industry as our next Human Resources Director, where you’ll oversee all HR operations across the U.S. and Canada. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategic HR initiatives for a growing, multi-state business backed by private equity.
As part of the senior leadership team, you will lead a talented HR group to manage everything from compliance and employee relations to talent acquisition and HR technology implementation. If you’re passionate about building strong teams, ensuring compliance, and driving HR excellence, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Multi-State HR Operations: Oversee HR for 5,000+ employees across multistate locations, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and support growth.
• Acquisition Support: Conduct HR due diligence for acquisitions and led post-merger integrations.
• HR Systems and Processes: Drive the enhancement of HR technology and streamline processes to support growth.

What We’re Looking For:
• 5+ years of HR leadership experience, including multi-state operations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, employee relations, and HR technology (HRIS systems).
• Experience with private equity-backed companies or managing HR during acquisitions is a plus.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
