Job description
Essential Responsibilities :
• Lead hands-on configuration of Workday modules, specifically:
• Core HCM: Business processes, organizations, staffing models, job profiles, positions, and supervisory hierarchies.
• Compensation: Salary structures, compensation plans, grade profiles, merit/bonus setup, and compensation reviews.
• Benefits: Enrollment events, eligibility rules, benefit plans, rates, and benefit groups.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions within Workday.
• Configure and optimize Workday business processes, condition rules, validations, and security settings relevant to HCM and Benefits.
• Create and maintain configuration workbooks, test scripts, and documentation for design, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct detailed testing including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Partner with other functional teams to ensure seamless cross-functional configurations.
• Monitor system performance post-go-live and proactively implement enhancements and solutions.
• Provide expertise on Workday releases and assess the impact on existing configurations.
Expected Experience & Required Skills :
• 12+ years of professional experience, with 7+ years of deep functional and configuration experience in Workday.
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring Core HCM, Compensation, and Benefits modules.
• Strong understanding of Workday HCM structures, business process framework, eligibility rules, and compensation design.
• Ability to independently lead discovery, design, configuration, testing, and support activities.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
