Job Overview:
We are seeking a Legal HR Specialist to join our team and oversee all aspects of our human resources functions within the legal department. The Legal HR Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal regulations, managing employee relations, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient HR practices.
Responsibilities:
Provide HR guidance to the legal department, including advice on HR policies, procedures, and regulations
Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Ensure that legal department employees are effectively trained on HR policies and practices
Manage the recruitment process for legal department positions, including advertising vacancies, reviewing resumes, and interviewing candidates
Manage employee relations issues and provide support to employees and managers as needed
Conduct investigations into HR-related complaints and recommend appropriate action
Ensure legal department employees are adequately trained on HR-related policies, procedures, and regulations
Participate in the development and implementation of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
Work closely with legal department leadership and other stakeholders to identify and resolve HR-related issues
Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
