Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for supporting and developing our diverse workforce.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement human resources strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
• Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment and selection processes.
• Lead and oversee the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making final hiring decisions.
• Develop and implement employee onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition into the organization for new hires.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on performance management, including goal setting, performance reviews, and addressing performance issues.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, promote professional development, and foster a learning culture.
• Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee welfare initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including managing employee contracts, leave management, and maintaining personnel records.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
• Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements, and provide recommendations to enhance HR policies and practices.
• Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to measure HR effectiveness and provide insights to senior management.
• Lead and manage employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and events to foster a positive work culture.
• Oversee employee offboarding processes, including exit interviews, knowledge transfer, and ensuring smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role within an NGO or non-profit organization.
• In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes, performance management, training and development, and employee engagement.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive employee matters, and demonstrate empathy and fairness in dealing with employee concerns.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Proficiency in HR software and systems for managing employee data and generating reports.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and experience in implementing inclusive HR practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across departments.
