Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and administrative skills, with a focus on providing exceptional support to clients throughout their case management journey. This role involves coordinating services, conducting research, and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The Case Manager will play a crucial role in advocating for clients and facilitating their access to necessary resources.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding their needs and progress.
Conduct thorough research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to gather relevant information for case preparation.
Draft legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy through meticulous proofreading.
Maintain organized case files and documentation using iManage or similar systems.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive service plans tailored to individual client needs.
Monitor client progress and adjust service plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
Engage in project management activities to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
Requirements
Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles, preferably within a legal or social services environment.
Strong research skills with proficiency in utilizing Lexis-Nexis for information gathering.
Excellent proofreading abilities with a keen eye for detail in written communication.
Ability to write clearly and concisely, adapting language for various audiences.
Experience in project management is preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload efficiently.
Familiarity with legal drafting practices is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a team.
