Job Summary
The Australian Government is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security. As a key member of the Attorney-General's Department, this role plays a crucial part in ensuring the integrity and accountability of Australia's intelligence agencies.
Responsibilities:
Lead inspections, inquiries, and investigations to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with senior officials from intelligence agencies to develop and implement strategies for enhancing their performance.
Foster relationships with stakeholders across the National Intelligence Community to facilitate information sharing and coordination.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills. A strong understanding of national security principles and policies is also essential. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Positive Vetting security clearance.
