Position Summary: Commis Chefs are the first rung in the kitchen ladder on the way to becoming a top chef. They are junior chefs who learn and practice their craft under the eye of a chef de partie so as to learn the ins and outs of each specific situation.

Responsibilities:
Assisting Other Chefs in the Kitchen.
Measuring Ingredients.
Work according to the menu specifications by the Chef De Partie.
Accepting store deliveries are also part of the Commis I Chef duties.
Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner.
Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
Ensure the quality of the food items.
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu.

Experience:
Previous Hospitality experience working as a Commis I
Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
If the candidate is an Indian Commie 1 Chef, then should have knowledge of Indian menu. E.g. Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Dal Makhani etc.
If Tandoor Commie 1 Chef, then candidate should have knowledge of Tandoor menu. E.g. Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Naan ,Chicken Bharta etc.
