Indirect Tax Associate

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling end-to-end GST litigation (i.e., assessment to appellate proceedings).

2. Drafting replies to Misc. Notices (i.e., Audit Notices, Investigation Notices, Enquiry Notices, ASMT-10, DRC-01A etc.), replies to Show Cause Notices, appeals against orders of Adjudicating Authority/Appellate Authority along with the filing of the same and representation thereof before the respective Tax Authorities, Appellate Authority, Tribunal/Court.

3. Replying to the queries raised by the clients over the mail, drafting legal opinions w.r.t. issues raised by the clients and advising them in their day-to-day business issues mainly related to GST law.

4. Keeping the clients updated with the latest GST rulings, recommendations of GST council meeting, clarifications and notifications issued by CBIC, amendments introduced in GST law/regulations, and judicial pronouncements by various courts/tribunals.

Desired Profile:
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and regulations and indirect tax case laws.
• Strong drafting skills with minimum involvement of seniors/partners.
• Well versed with filing of replies and appeals on GST portal.
• Experience representation of cases before the tax authorities.
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible with timings and working days.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Professional qualifications such as CA/LLB with minimum 3 years experience in GST Litigation and Advisory
