Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces in an industrial setting. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary - Mix paints and coatings to achieve desired colors and textures

- Apply paint or coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray guns

- Ensure even coverage and smooth finish on all painted surfaces

- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear - Maintain and clean painting equipment after each use

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Skills:

- Experience in industrial painting or a similar role

- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and their applications

- Ability to use hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes

- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting painting equipment

- Proficiency in operating a forklift or crane is desirable
