• Job Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Information Security Manager - Defence Specific. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information in accordance with defence-specific regulations and guidelines. Your expertise will also be sought after in building a strong relationship with NSCS and other Defence specific Cyber Directorates to address emerging threats and trends proactively. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive cyber security strategy that aligns with our business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Responsibilities:, Establish effective leadership and direction to deliver enterprise technology risk profiling through identification, evaluation, measurement, and risk mitigation planning in partnership with senior stakeholders, Drive an understanding of policy, standards management, and compliance management, and foster a culture of regular risk assessment from a cyber security perspective within the organization, Plan and comply with application and infrastructure vulnerability assessments at the business level, including the Operational Technology landscape, Develop and implement a comprehensive cyber security strategy that aligns with business objectives (including regulatory requirements) and other regulatory requirements, Lead the team in conducting regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and ensure remedial actions are taken based on the assessment outcomes, Build a strong cyber security posture at the business level by aligning with group-level cyber strategies, Oversee the ideation, delivery, and closure of critical cyber security projects, Ensure a robust DR/BCP roadmap is implemented to handle and mitigate impact of cyber attacks on business if any, Have a strong relationship with NSCS and other Defence specific Cyber Directorates (incl. SAG, ACG, DCYA among others) so that emerging threats and trends are addressed proactively by the organization

Requirements:
• Proven experience in managing defence-specific cybersecurity initiatives
• Strong understanding of defence-specific regulations and guidelines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to analyze complex security threats and develop effective mitigation strategies
