Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Sales Specialist. The IT Sales Specialist will be responsible for lead generation, account management, and sales of our data assessment and management services. The IT Sales Specialist will also be responsible for communicating effectively with clients to understand their needs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1 Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Understand clients' IT needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.

2 New Business Development:
• Identify and target new business prospects within the assigned territory.
• Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.

3 Product Knowledge:
• Develop a deep understanding of our IT product offerings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors' products.
• Communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions effectively to clients.

4 Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales plans and forecasts.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, making necessary adjustments to achieve goals.

5 Negotiation and Closing:
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
• Close sales deals and secure long-term partnerships.
• Ensure all sales agreements are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

6 Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in CRM software.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

Qualifications
• Information Technology and IT Sales skills
• Proven experience in lead generation and account management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience in the decision science or data management industry is a plus
