Job description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. As a Delivery Helper, you will assist in the safe and efficient delivery of flooring material to our customers. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. Occassionally required to drive a 1 ton or 5 ton cube trucks, so experience driving and knowledge of the area of Edmonton and Surrounding area's would be benificial.
• Duties:

- Assist the driver in loading and unloading flooring from the truck to sites
- Safely secure items in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transportation
- Follow delivery routes and schedules provided
- Communicate effectively with the driver and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle, such as checking fuel levels and tire pressure
- Assist with warehouse duties, including organizing and preparing items for delivery
• Skills:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Basic knowledge of forklift operation is a plus
- Valid class 5 license required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries and documentation
- Ability to work independently and follow instruction

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)
• Experience:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
• Language:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Work Location: In person

• Position Summary:
As a member of our team, you will be providing installation support to our Residential New Construction Installers, as well as loading and unloading materials from the truck and organizing truck stock.
• Responsibilities:

- Work under the supervision of an Installer or Lead Installer to install HVAC equipment and accessories.
- Provide installation support as needed to Installer or Lead Installer.
- Loading and unloading of HVAC materials from the vehicle.
- Organizing parts and stock.
• Qualifications:
• Qualifications:

- Prior experience working in construction or HVAC industry.
- Must possess all valid licensing or certifications as required by provincial or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area.
- Effective communication skills.
- Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills.
- Proficient mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment.
- The ability to perform minor field fabrication as well as work with power tools.
- The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
- The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
