Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Instructional Curriculum Coordinator. We are specifically looking for someone to design and lead Coding courses. Expertise in software development, programming languages, and tools are preferable. The Instructional Curriculum Coordinator will work to align classroom instruction with curriculum standards, improving student achievement. The coordinator will ensure that the curriculum supports the mission, goals, and priorities of Prepaze and that teachers have easy access to learning resources and support.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of instructional design, curriculum development, and alignment with standards
• Knowledge of coding courses in Python, Java, and AI
• Teaching experience with coding classes is preferable
• Experience with education technology and digital learning resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrated skills in project management, data analysis, and problem-solving
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Experience in K-12 education is preferred
• Experience with professional development for educators is a plus
