Qualifications
The selected candidate for the position must be board-eligible and/or board-certified fellowship trained in pathology, with an interest in Digital Pathology

Responsibilities
The Instructor's professional responsibilities will include participation in operations of Digital Pathology / Health Informatics clinical and research
The incumbent is also expected to work closely with the Director of Molecular Pathology, in the expansion of the molecular pathology services of the Department
Provide coaching, mentoring, support, and consultation to clinical managers, attending physicians, research personnel, colleagues, and clinical staff
Serve as role model in professional behavior and leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and interpersonal skills
Participate in and/or chair committees, work groups, and meetings as appropriate
Assure interdisciplinary performance improvement programs are active, maintained, and ongoing
Following up to ensure that complaints have been satisfactorily handled
Collaborating to maintain a focus on providing excellent clinical services
Job description
McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, is seeking a full-time, board-eligible and/or board-certified fellowship trained in pathology, with an interest in Digital Pathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the rank of Instructor. Additional interest in molecular pathology is highly desirable.

Position Key Accountabilities:

The Instructor's professional responsibilities will include participation in operations of Digital Pathology / Health Informatics clinical and research.
