Salary Range

$+3,566 - $100,431 (including service allowance) plus 15.4 per cent superannuation.

The Opportunity

AE5 Intelligence Support Officers (ISO) provide support to ASIO operational teams, including assisting in the planning, coordination and facilitation of activities that support intelligence operations and investigations. Working in accordance with relevant legislation, ISO’s:

Undertake research and collate results, including interrogating and maintaining databases to identify and record relevant information.
Assist with the management of intelligence operations, including warranted operations.
Maintain productive working relationships within ASIO, as well as with external agencies and partners.
Provide administrative support to ASIO operational teams.

Location

These roles are available in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney. Other locations may be considered on a case by case basis and/or according to the needs of the Organisation.

Employment conditions

Employment is under the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation Act 1+7+. Conditions of service are similar to those applying in the Australian Public Service. We recognise entitlements accrued under the Public Service Act 1+++ and provide for continuation of superannuation under the Commonwealth schemes. Salary packaging arrangements are also available.
