As our Interior Designer, you'll play a critical role in the client journeyleading design meetings, tracking selections, and keeping the process on time and on brand. You'll work closely with our Architect, Project Managers, clients, and vendors to ensure that every material, finish, and detail reflects the homeowner's visionand that nothing slips through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the homeowner selections process from initial concept to final order
Assist the Architect with interior design during the design phase
Create wall elevations and interior details as needed
Help clients make timely decisions in alignment with project milestones and budgets
Monitor product lead times and communicate proactively with Project Managers
Schedule and attend showroom visits with clients
Track, finalize, and order materials; manage selections documentation
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors regarding design and selections
Assist with punch list items related to design and finishes
Ensure all communications are timely and clear
Create mood boards and selections boards for both clients and social media
Support Longshore Market and Parade of Homes material curation as needed
Collaborate with Marketing to generate design-focused content
Qualifications

35 years of interior design experience (custom homes strongly preferred)
Strong eye for design and an ability to interpret and deliver a client's personal style
Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented
Tech-savvy: confident using project management tools like Asana, Chief Architect
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in managing schedules, selections, and vendor communications
Experience preparing detailed wall elevations and design documents
Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
Friendly, approachable, and solutions-oriented with clients and teammates alike
Hard Selections: Strong understanding of cabinetry layouts and tile selections etc.
