Senex is looking for a motivated Intern to join our Environment Team in our Brisbane CBD Head Office.

The paid internship program will run from December 2024 to February 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for a student studying any of the following degrees:

Natural Resources Management
Environmental Science
Environmental Planning
Environmental Law
Environmental Engineering
Law

Your Team

The Environment Team at Senex comprises of environmental scientists and engineers responsible for upholding our core Senex value - protecting the environment. The Team must obtain necessary state and federal government approvals prior to the commencement of project operations requiring environmental impact assessments that comprise of field-based surveys and data collection. Once approvals are secured the Team ensure Senex remains compliant with regulatory requirements, including conducting training and awareness, monitoring and reporting, incident response, engagement with key stakeholder groups and rehabilitation tracking and reporting.

Why become a Senex Intern?

During our 12-week program you will lead a major project prescribed by your manager, whilst supporting your team to deliver current project and operational requirements.

At the conclusion of the program, you will present your project and how it contributed to Senex's strategy and values to fellow interns, leaders and the Senex Executive Committee.

As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to visit our sites in the Surat Basin, work with industry experts and gain valuable experience in your technical field.
