Overview:

Straightline KIA is looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Internal Service Advisor & Warranty Clerk to join our fixed operations team. This dual-role position is critical in supporting the flow of internal repair orders, coordinating with sales and reconditioning, and ensuring accurate and timely warranty claim submissions.

Key Responsibilities:Internal Service Advisor Duties:

Manage all internal repair orders (ROs) for pre-owned and new vehicle reconditioning
Communicate directly with the sales and inventory management team to prioritize units based on retail timelines
Coordinate with technicians and parts to ensure timely completion of work
Track status of vehicles in reconditioning and provide ETA updates to the sales tower
Ensure all internal jobs are properly documented with accurate labor and parts costs
Support the Service Manager in workflow optimization and shop efficiency for internal work
Issuing purchase orders (PO) to all vendors before any work is completed.
Warranty Clerk Duties:

Prepare, review, and submit all warranty and recall claims to KIA Canada
Ensure claims meet manufacturer compliance standards
Monitor warranty claim payments and resolve rejected or unpaid claims promptly
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KIA warranty policies, bulletins, and claim procedures
File and maintain all warranty documentation as required for audit purposes
Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure proper documentation for claim support
Qualifications:

Previous dealership service experience required; KIA or PBS experience is an asset
Understanding of service operations and warranty claim processes
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Able to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with DMS (PBS preferred), Microsoft Office, and manufacturer portals
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
