Primary
Purpose: The IT Identity
and Access Manager is responsible for ensuring that the right individuals have
access to the appropriate technology resources and information within the
organization. This role exists to safeguard sensitive company data and systems
by managing user identities, access permissions, and security protocols.
Key
Activities:
• Develop and implement identity and
access management (IAM) strategies.
• Oversee the administration of user
accounts, roles, and access rights.
• Coordinate with IT and security
teams to align IAM measures with overall security policies.
• Monitor and audit access controls
and compliance with regulations.
• Manage IAM solutions and upgrades to
address evolving security threats.
Results:
• Secure and compliant access
management across the company.
• Efficient user lifecycle management
from onboarding to offboarding.
• Reduced risk of data breaches and
unauthorized access
Key roles responsibilities and
accountabilities:
• Policy
Development: Create and maintain access control
policies in line with industry best practices.
• User
Management: Oversee the provisioning,
deprovisioning, and review of user access rights.
• Security
Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal,
regulatory, and contractual obligations concerning access management.
• Incident
Response: Lead the response to IAM-related
security incidents and breaches.
• Training
and Awareness: Conduct training sessions to educate
staff on access control policies and procedures
Job requirements and
qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum
of 5 years in an IT security role with a focus on identity and access
management.
• Proven
experience with IAM tools and technologies.
• Skills:
• Strong
understanding of IAM principles and technologies (e.g., SSO, MFA, RBAC).
• Knowledge
of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Excellent
problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective
communication and leadership skills.
• Certifications
(Preferred):
• Certified
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
• Certified
Information Security Manager (CISM).
· Language
skills: Native Fluency in English is a Must
