Full-time position available
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced candidates with a proven track record of managing IT operations, who will use their experience and capabilities to ensure the effective delivery, support, and maintenance of business and technical services for applications and infrastructure. The IT Operations Manager will be overseeing Inala’s technical environment, ensuring the implementation of robust and efficient practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, this is a full-time role based at Cherrybrook in Sydney’s Northwest. General hours are office hours from Monday to Friday, with flexibility required depending on the timing of events. A hybrid working model is an option.
Responsibilities
Managing IT infrastructure, systems, and external vendors: Oversee IT infrastructure, coordinate with MSPs and other vendors, and lead IT operations projects. Regularly assess and recommend improvements to technical structures and ensure backup and disaster recovery procedures are maintained.
Handling financial and strategic aspects: Outline IT budgetary adjustments for the financial year and provide technical decision-making advice.
Providing technical recommendations: Offer recommendations that enrich the organisation's participants, staff and other stakeholders.
Enhancing cybersecurity and digital transformation: Proactively oversee cybersecurity measures and assist the organisation through digital transformation processes.
Maintaining documentation and staff training: Review, update, and maintain IT documentation and policies, and assist the training team to ensure staff are well-educated in their technical needs.
Essential Criteria
5 years minimum in IT management – Demonstrated experience in managerial roles within IT
Tertiary qualifications relating to IT advantageous
Technical Expertise - Strong background in technical infrastructure and systems administration in cloud environments
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering technical projects
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisation skills
Able to work autonomously and also as part of a team
Familiar with digital marketing – website, social media and email
High-level of personal integrity and a willingness to work within the Ethos of Inala
Able to work non-standard business hours as required
An entitlement to work in Australia
NDIS Worker Clearance
Vaccinated against COVID-1+, and maintains consistency with all applicable PHO’s and Department of Health guidelines
Desirable Criteria
Experience working in the disability sector and/or a not-for-profit organisation
