Job Summary:
The IT Sales and Outsourcing Specialist plays a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and managing client relationships in the field of information technology (IT) sales and outsourcing. This position involves understanding client requirements, presenting IT solutions and services, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Job Duties:
Identify and prospect potential clients in the target market to generate new business opportunities.
Understand client needs and requirements, and tailor IT solutions and outsourcing services to meet their specific goals.
Conduct presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of IT products, services, and outsourcing capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact throughout the sales and outsourcing process.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop comprehensive and competitive proposals that address client requirements.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and other performance metrics.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, opportunities, and progress to the management team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as delivery, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth project implementation and client satisfaction.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry developments, and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in IT sales, business development, or related roles, preferably in the technology or IT services industry.
Strong knowledge of IT solutions, software applications, infrastructure services, and outsourcing models.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships, present ideas, and negotiate effectively.
Ability to understand client needs, identify pain points, and propose suitable IT solutions.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Familiarity with sales methodologies, CRM systems, and sales pipeline management.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a customer-centric approach.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
