Overview

The IT Sales Executive plays a crucial role in driving the sales of IT products and services. They are responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. IT Sales Executives also play a key role in promoting the organization's IT solutions and providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT sector
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Meet and exceed sales targets for IT products and services
• Promote and demonstrate the value of IT solutions to potential clients
• Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of IT products and services
• Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients
• Negotiate and close sales agreements with clients
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer requirements are met
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions
• Provide excellent customer service and support to clients
• Participate in trade shows, events, and networking activities to promote the organization's IT offerings
• Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
• Contribute to the development of effective sales strategies and tactics
• Work collaboratively with the marketing department to generate leads and opportunities

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
• Demonstrated success in IT sales or a related field
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent understanding of IT products, services, and industry trends
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Experience in CRM software and sales tracking tools
• Strategic and analytical thinking capabilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events
• Understanding of customer needs and an aptitude for providing solutions
• Proactive and driven attitude towards achieving sales goals
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
