Full job description
As a Payroll and HR IT Support Analyst, you will provide first-level support for users of payroll and human resources information systems. You will guarantee quality service, promptness and compliance with internal procedures.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day support of users, working closely with the level 2 support teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Receive, qualify, and resolve incidents and requests related to HR/Payroll applications (HRMS, payroll software, time tracking, etc.)
Provide functional support to users in the daily use of the tools
Escalate complex incidents to Level 2 or to the relevant technical/functional teams
Track tickets in the JIRA management tool
Update the knowledge base and user documentation
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes
Maintain effective communication with all teams to ensure compliance with best practices
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Training or certification in human resources, payroll, IT, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in first-level application support, ideally in an HR or payroll environment
Knowledge of or strong interest in HR systems, payroll, or HRIS
Proficient in office software (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools (asset)
SCP certification from the National Payroll Institute (INP) or training in payroll legislation (asset)
Excellent analytical, listening, and communication skills
Rigor, service-oriented, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with other teams
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Responsiveness, deadline-oriented, and detail-oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French
Strong interest in analysis and problem-solving
Collaborative spirit, ability to mobilize different perspectives to find solutions
Teaching skills and a sense of support
Diagnostic and continuous improvement orientation
