We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy IT Support Technician to join our team on a Part-time (20 hours) 3-month fixed-term contract, ensuring smooth technology operations across our stores and support office.
Job Summary
As an Entry-Level IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing technical support to store teams and support office staff. Your role will involve troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring seamless operation of digital systems, including POS, kiosks, and tablets.
Key Responsibilities
Provide level 1 IT support for employees across all store locations and support office, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technology issues via phone, email, and in person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of one of our digital systems in store.
UAT testing for our POS system.
Support staff with email, user-based applications, and general IT inquiries.
Monitor and maintain IT systems to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
Collaborate with and escalate issues to third-party support teams as needed.
Document IT processes, common issues, and solutions for future reference.
About You!
A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science.
Preferably have one year of experience in a similar role or practical experience.
Must be comfortable to travel to store when required (once or twice a week) will be compensated through IRD mileage claim rates.
Strong problem-solving skills with a well-organised approach.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
