Primary Purpose of Organization Unit: The Office of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is responsible for marketing the university to prospective students, alumni and other constituents, and for brand development and compliance
Primary Purpose of Position: Directly responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining technical support for the university website
This includes logistics related to top-level web communications, emergency operations web communications, strategic consulting for top-level user experience, management of university web presence, interaction design for web, information architecture, assessment, evaluation and statistical tracking related to top-level web development and functionality
Manages projects related to web/electronic communications and provides social media monitoring for critical/crisis communications
