As the TMI ESG Lead you will manage a Technology team responsible for delivering to business and regulatory outcomes to the Treasury Market Investment trading desks. You will form strong relationships through working closely with senior stakeholders in trading, Strats, and senior leadership within TMI. You will gain deep business, regulatory and process knowledge to oversee implementation of robust solutions for TMI Technology within our strategic platforms. You will help define and deliver our strategy for managing green asset and liability pools, with robust and timely assets and liabilities risk management process. You will be defining the strategy and driving the transformation of the TMI application landscape including migration to Google Cloud.

The Treasury Market Investment business supported by this team is responsible for:

Managing DB’sexternal debt and capital Issuances including arrangement of covered bond and securitization transactions utilizing illiquid DB loan portfolios.

Fund, manage & optimise DB’s Central bank & Nostro accounts (via Fund FX & cross currency, funding matrix, collateral management and secured funding).

Distribute liquidity and funding across businesses and legalentities.

In partnership with businesses and Risk, calculate the banking book the market risks that are to be

hedged centrally.

Pro-actively hedge and manage these risks in the wholesale market.

Process all Funds Transfer Pricing through transactions or journals.

Manage DBs financial asset portfolios: Structural Liquidity Reserves,Statutory bonds portfolios, and Asset Purchasing Program

Qualifications & Experience
• Experienced Technology Lead with broad knowledge and skills across Technology and Business
• Detailed experienced at running Agile development teams
• Minimum of 15-20 years of relevant experience in hands on leadership with technology delivery, design and development.
• Experience in diverse range of IT landscape in a large complex institution and global multinational
• Demonstrable success managing and operating in a matrix environment that encompasses functional and geographical diversity
• Exemplary communication and stakeholder management skills
• Leading by example, with hands on engineering attitude
• Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple parallel deliveries
• Experience working on Front of technology platforms
• Should have lead and demonstrated transformation initiatives in complex global environment and progressive companies

Your Key Responsibilities:
• Design elegant solutions to complex problems which satisfy user & non-functional requirements
• Design & engineer solutions and services with embedded risk and security controls as mitigation against threats
• Create strategic solutions that consider the risk, benefits and conflicts of the situation
• Participate in strategic development of platform architecture and infrastructure
• Participate in SDLC cycles to ensure production infrastructure and processes are compatible with impending feature releases
• Perform risk assessments of engineering solutions and designs
• Contribute to analysis for new business requirements
• Work with peer teams to deliver successfully on integration points
• Participate in SL3, production issues investigation and resolution

Your Skills and Experience:
• 15 to 20 years of experience in the IT industry with hands-on development in Java Programming, XML and Oracle SQL/PLSQL writing skills.
• Deep knowledge of Java, the JVM, object orientation principles
• Significant development experience, working within an agile environment and using modern engineering practices
• Experience of OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes as well as exposure to a range of modern build tools, such as Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery to ensure that changes can be done quicly and safely
• Architecture and design approaches that support rapid, incremental and iterative delivery, such as SOA or Microservices
• Knowledge in modern Javascript frameworks e.g. React, Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, Node.js. and of the REST principles and associated technologies
• Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with Investment Banking Post Trade and Investment banking in general is a plus
