Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer with 4-5 years of hands-on experience in building high-performance, scale-able mobile applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create seamless and intuitive Android applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.

Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and Android development technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

4-5 years of professional Android development experience.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java is a must.

Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Components, MVP, MVVM architecture, ORMLite, Room DB, SQLite DBs. Knowledge about Material design, Jetpack components like Compose, Navigation, etc. Multi-threading, RetrofitGlide and encryption.

Experience with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, Firebase, Room Database.

Proficiency in Git and version control systems.

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design.

Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience with Jetpack Compose.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for Android is preferred.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.

Previous experience in a software development firm or startup environment.
