We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Lead to join our team at ENGIE India. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the electrical design process for large-scale solar PV projects, working closely with engineers and technical teams.
About the Role

The Senior Electrical Design Lead will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering work packages, ensuring that projects meet the required technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the power generation sector, specifically in developing or designing solar PV projects, with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate engineering work packages for multiple projects.
• Lead the electrical design process, ensuring compliance with international standards (IS, IEC, IEEE) and company policies.
• Develop and review complex engineering deliverables, including layouts, cable sizing, and vendor drawing reviews.
• Collaborate with procurement and construction teams to ensure alignment with procurement strategies and construction plans.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and contractual agreements.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E.) or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (M.Tech).
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the power generation sector, specifically in solar PV project development or design.
• Extensive knowledge of solar PV technologies, electrical systems, and international standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
