About the Role
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented video editor to join our design team at DeltaX.
In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for digital marketing campaigns, social media content, promotional videos, and more. Your creative vision and technical skills will enable you to create engaging and impactful video content that meets our brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for digital marketing campaigns, social media, and client projects.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video ideas that align with client needs and brand objectives.
• Add visual effects, music, sound, transitions, and other elements to enhance video quality and engagement.
• Ensure videos are edited according to brand guidelines, project specifications, and deadlines.
• Maintain organized video files and assets in a digital library.
• Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, techniques, and industry best practices to continuously improve content.
• Work closely with the marketing team to optimize video content for various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects while ensuring consistent, high-quality results.
Requirements
• 1-3 years of experience as a video editor in an ad agency or similar environment, with a portfolio of completed projects showcasing your skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Proficiency in motion graphics and animation software (e.g., After Effects).
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail and storytelling.
• Solid understanding of video production processes, including editing, sound design, and color correction.
• Strong knowledge of video formats and optimization for various platforms (e.g., social media, websites, and digital ads).
• Hands-on experience with key design-related software like Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Illustrator / Sketch is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• A keen understanding of digital marketing and its role in video content creation is a plus.
Compensation
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
