Job Summary

Optellix Private Limited is seeking a skilled Optomechanical Engineer with a strong background in optical modeling, optomechanical design, and hands-on experience in manufacturing and prototyping. This role involves designing and implementing solutions for complex optical systems, drafting specifications and requirements, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop optomechanical designs for optical systems.
• Utilize OpticStudio for optical modeling and simulations (experience required).
• Prototype solutions using Python or other coding languages.
• Collaborate with teams to draft specifications and requirements.
• Leverage AZOS API (preferred) to integrate and enhance optical systems.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Lead projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Education: Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year

of experience.

Experience:
• Proven hands-on experience in optomechanical modeling or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Optic Studio for optical modeling.
• Entry level experience of Python for prototyping.
• Strong skills in drafting specifications and requirements for complex systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Team player with demonstrated project leadership skills.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience working with AZOS API.
• Familiarity with industry standards for optomechanical system design and manufacturing.
