Job description
Position Title: Cybersecurity Trainer/Instructor

Responsibilities:
• Develop and Deliver Training Programs
• Create and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training programs, including hands-on labs, workshops, and theoretical sessions, tailored to beginners and advanced learners.
• Design curriculum focused on topics like network security, ethical hacking, Azure security, cloud protection, incident response, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Engage and Educate Learners
• Simplify complex cybersecurity concepts for individuals with diverse technical backgrounds, ensuring content is accessible and engaging.
• Facilitate interactive discussions and practical exercises to enhance understanding and application of cybersecurity skills.
• Design and Update Course Content
• Continuously update course materials to reflect the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Integrate real-world scenarios, case studies, and simulations to prepare students for industry challenges.
• Provide Individualized Support
• Mentor and guide students through their learning journey, addressing individual challenges and fostering a growth mindset.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student performance to encourage improvement.
• Prepare Students for Certification
• Train students to achieve industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, AZ-+00, AZ-500, and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Design mock exams and practice sessions to build confidence and readiness for certification tests.
• Promote Career Readiness
• Educate students on building resumes, preparing for technical interviews, and navigating career transitions into cybersecurity roles.
• Partner with employers and recruiters to connect students with internship and job opportunities.
• Conduct Research and Stay Current
• Stay up-to-date with evolving cybersecurity threats, tools, and technologies to ensure the curriculum remains relevant.
• Research and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with Teams
• Work closely with other educators and team members to align training content with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning for expanding cybersecurity education offerings.
• Measure Training Effectiveness
• Track and analyze student progress and course effectiveness using metrics and feedback.
• Continuously improve course delivery based on student performance and feedback.
• Advocate for Cybersecurity Awareness
• Conduct outreach programs, webinars, and community events to promote cybersecurity awareness and the importance of digital safety.

Desired Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Hands-on experience with Azure security, network protection, and cloud operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
• Experience in instructional design and curriculum development.
• Certifications like CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Azure certifications (preferred).
