Job description
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer (IBM ODM)

Primary Location: Pune, India (with team members in Dublin, Ireland and St. Louis, MO, USA)

Shift: Monday to Friday: +:30 AM – 6:30 PM (with 2-3 hours of US shift overlap once per quarter)

Experience Required: 6-10 Years (5-7 Years Relevant Experience in IBM/ODM preferred)

Contract Duration: 12 months (Initial)

Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Technical + Managerial), Video Interview for both rounds

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Sr. Software Engineer with strong experience in IBM/ODM or Business Console to join our Business Rules and Engineering team. This team, primarily based in Pune, works alongside teams in Dublin, Ireland and St. Louis, MO, USA. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing rules strategies to support fraud detection for customer and Client's products in the financial/payment domain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Author and implement business rules for fraud detection and prevention.
• Develop and build rules strategies for customers.
• Communicate directly with customers regarding automated product queries.
• Resolve queries related to fraud prevention tools and ensure optimal product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and improve product functionality.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience with IBM ODM (currently using) or Business Console (transitioning soon).
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in IBM/ODM (open to candidates with fewer years if they have the right skillset).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience in the financial/payment domain is a plus.
